What is the ECO4 Scheme?
ECO4 is the latest phase of the Government’s Energy Company Obligation, running from August 2022 till March 2026.
The Scheme aims to provide free energy-saving measures for vulnerable households to improve the efficiency and heating of their home.
Who's eligible for ECO4?
Are you a homeowner or a private tenant? Are you in receipt of the qualifying benefits outlined below? There’s a good chance you’ll meet the criteria.
You’ll need; An EPC rating of D, E F, or G
As well as being in receipt of one of the following;

If you receive Child Benefit only, you will be asked to provide your Child Benefit Award Notice along with evidence to support your eligibility.

FAQs about the ECO4 Scheme
Why do you need my personal information?
We need to validate your eligibility to the scheme by contacting the DWP (Department for Work & Pensions) or speak to your local council in the event you don’t automatically qualify
Do I get a warranty for work carried out?
Yes. All of the work we carry out comes with either a warranty or guarantee.
What areas do you cover?

Why can't I just get a replacement gas boiler?
The Eco Grants 4 You scheme has been designed by the government to improve the most energy-inefficient properties. The scheme requires that the fabric of a property (walls, floors and roofs) are considered before replacing a heating system.
What if I don't want all the measures that the installer says I need to have?
In order to be eligible for the ECO scheme, your property must meet the minimum EPC band improvement. The measures identified by the installer will meet this requirement and must be installed to be eligible for the scheme.

Why do I need to have ventilation measures installed in my property?
When insulating a property it’s important to have adequate airflow throughout the property, therefore it may be required to install ventilation measures.
